The Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) is proud to contribute to the operational readiness and effectiveness of the Canadian Armed Forces.  CFB Suffield is looking for a professional to fill our Fitness and Sports Instructor position.  Through the planning and delivery of physical fitness training activities, physical fitness assessments and exercise prescription, our Fitness and Sports Instructors play a key role in supporting the Total Health and Wellness of the Canadian Armed Forces members in CFB Suffield and the development of a Strong, Secure and Engaged Canadian Armed Forces.
 
The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Sciences or a related field and some experience in physical fitness evaluation and prescription.  They will also have their current CPR, Basic First Aid and National Lifeguard certification or the ability to obtain these upon being hired.  They will also be required to have and maintain a level of physical fitness.  As part of our team, our fitness professionals possess and display our shared competencies of client service, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
