From its humble beginnings in 1983, the Canadian company Weddingstar has grown and evolved to become a designer, manufacturer, distributor and ecommerce seller of wedding related products worldwide. Rick Brink is the CEO of Weddingstar and he and along with his wife Helle, began the company together over 30+ years ago.
The company has a team of graphic and product designers that has developed a product line of over 3000 products, the vast majority of which are exclusive to Weddingstar. These unique designs along with the company?s online technology have propelled Weddingstar to the position of leader in the online wedding market. The Weddingstar magazine is filled with stunning photographs featuring its product line. It is sold in over 40,000 retail outlets across North America and is re-purposed for markets in the UK and Australia where it is distributed to more than 100,000 brides.
Weddingstar has expanded internationally to the point where over 85% of the company's sales are outside of Canada. This is the result of strong online direct sales as well as through vital partnerships with affiliates, new acquisitions and other leaders in the global wedding industry.
